My Favorite Technology

I am not techno savvy at all.  I am struggling with all of the new things that are required for this class.  I would have to say right now that my favorite is the Promethean Board.  We have just received some in my school.  I actually received some training today.  I do believe it is very important for us to use and teach our students how to use different forms of technology. 

Howard Gardner who supports the Multiple Intelligences theory has found that there are eight intelligences that play a role in learning.  I agree with Gardner in that I do not believe that IQ test are the best indicator of  all intelligence.  I enjoy teaching in different ways in order for all learners to be able to gather information and produce a finish product in different ways.  There is not a one size fit all in education.  We all learn differently. By using multiple intelligence theory in the classroom we as teachers are creating different ways students can learn the same material.  All teachers should market to all learning styles.
